汽車駕駛對空鳴槍 警逮人起出玩具槍
新竹警方8月22日晚間接獲通報，在南寮區的一處住宅區有一名汽車駕駛，搖下車窗對空鳴槍，嚇得附近民眾趕緊報案，警方循線找到了鳴槍的駕駛，全副武裝，荷槍實彈攻堅，不過駕駛繳出槍械後，警方才發現，原來只是一把玩具紙砲槍。
畫面上這輛白色轎車，停在路中間動也不動停在新竹市南寮西濱公路上，下一秒駕駛居然搖下車窗，對空鳴槍，隨後把車開走，當時附近的民眾聽到巨大聲響嚇壞了，趕緊報警處理。
南寮派出所長陳安隆：「我們依據民眾所提供的車號，跟他做詢問之後，發現說這車子是租賃車，我們就荷槍實彈之後，去承租人家裡埋伏。」
警方隨後依照民眾提供的車號，加上路口監視器，找到了這名駕駛的住處，擔憂駕駛可能擁槍自重，警方絲毫不敢大意，身穿防彈背心，荷槍實彈，還加派警力上門逮人，不過這名持槍駕駛，看到警方上門，一臉驚恐，沒有抵抗，主動繳械，警方看了當場傻眼，原來那把槍並不是真槍，只是在新竹內灣老街買的，一把懷舊玩具紙砲槍。
南寮派出所長陳安隆：「這個當事人，許姓的民眾也很驚嚇，他辯稱他只是一時的興起，好奇好玩對外做一個，把玩這一個鞭炮的是玩具槍。」
這把紙砲槍，不僅外型就真正的左輪手槍一模一樣，市面上販售的有塑膠殼和鐵殼，裡面還可以放進火藥子彈，不過不會射傷人，只會發出聲響，雖然駕駛供稱只是為了重溫兒時回憶，沒有惡意，但為了一時的好玩，引發民眾恐慌，實在要不得！（民視新聞葉興凱新竹報導）
